   Compounding of Polyolefins.

Perfect compounding of polyolefins. Compounding, degassing, pelletizing with ZSK MEGAcompounder, discharge parts, screen pask changer, and underwater pelletizer.

Coperion Werner & Pfleiderer co-rotating ZSK MEGAcompounders offer a substantial number of advantages in the continuous compounding of Polyolefins. Due to its modular design, the ZSK MEGAcompounder is ideally suited for and adaptable to all pro-cesses. From LLDPE, HDPE, or PP powders (that are premixed continuously with additives and fed to the ZSK), to LDPE melts that must be pelletized, or melt solutions from which solvents are removed.

With the special superpositioning drive concept – available from ZSK 250 – compounding is particularly flexible due to the variable speed in the operating range. The larger diameter ratio Do / Di, coupled with a high specific torque Md / a³ allow a gentle compounding and generation of pressure, even with high-viscosity products. A melt-pump is only utilized in isolated applications when very high-viscosity problems are compounded or very fine screens are required.

Balanced free volume / torque with the ZSK MEGAcompounder ratio.
