| Applications | | |
Bulk materials which at first sight may appear similar, generally behave in very different ways. Coperion Waeschle has built up experience based on more than 10,000 products over the years. The existing product database is constantly being expanded through tests in the laboratory and test plant.
Coperion Waeschle has the technical process expertise as well as the key components specially developed for powders and other critical products. This enables us to design and build customer- and product specific plants.
A main focus lies on the following process stages:
| - | | Storage and discharge |
| - | | Dosing and feeding |
| - | | Conveying |
| - | | Blending / Homogenizing |
| - | | Cooling / Heating |
| - | | Packaging / Loading |
| Typical products | | |
Additives, aluminum oxide, barium sulfate, dry blend, dolomite, fertilizers, iron oxide, epoxy resin, fillers, slip additives, rock flour, urea, wood fibre, lime, catalysts, chalk, synthetic resin, melamine, methyl cellulose, modifier, pigments, PVC, soda, stabilizers, starch, talcum, titanium dioxide, detergents, zinc stearate etc.
| Product transport and dosing with additives | | |
An optimum conveying process transports the basic material into the processing plant.
Additives supplied from different kinds of bags, drums and containers can be handled properly, dosed accurately and fed into the process.
| Product logistics | | |
According to the requirements and the special characteristics of the high-quality endproduct, it is taken up by the pneumatic conveying unit and transferred to the logistics section at the desired rate of output. There the product is stored. In the packaging unit, it is packed into a wide range of containers. Alternatively, it can be loaded loose into silo tankers, containers or rail cars.
